Aging

The Aging view shows all your open tasks sorted from oldest to newest — giving you a clear picture of what has been sitting around the longest.

Open the Aging view from the view switcher (left hand bar) or press ⌃2. The ⓘ button in the view's corner opens a short explainer of what Aging is telling you.

How tasks are sorted

Tasks are ordered by creation date, oldest first. The age shown on each task card reflects how long the task has existed in your task manager, not how long it has been on the Flowcus board.

Recurring tasks

Long-lived recurring tasks — a weekly review, a daily check-in — would otherwise sit at the top of the ranking forever and inflate the warning and critical counts, without telling you anything useful. Aging hides them and shows a "N recurring tasks hidden" note so you know they're there. The ranking and the counts only reflect the one-off work that's genuinely getting old.

Using Aging to stay on top of neglected work

The Aging view pairs well with the Ghost Detection feature on the Kanban board — while Ghost Detection highlights tasks that have gone stale, the Aging view gives you the full chronological picture so nothing falls through the cracks.
